How to Make Pink Tea or Kashmiri Tea - Fizah Mughees





Pink tea



•Take water and add Kashmiri tea leaves. Add cardamom.

•salt, cinnamon and bring it to boil.

•Add 1/8 teaspoon of baking soda & cook longer for 45-60 minutes.

•Let it boil on medium flame.

•The  color changes. Continue boiling.

•You can see a little pink color at this stage but keeping cooking,

•The water is reduced to half. And the color is deep red.

•Add  icy cold water. And mix well for 1 minute.

•Kehwa of Kashmiri tea is ready. You can store in fridge at this stage.

•When you want to make the tea add milk about 1/2 cup or more for each serving,

•A beautiful pink color is visible. Add sugar 1 teaspoon for each serving.

•Boil for another few minutes add 1/4 teaspoon pistachio and 1/4 teaspoon almond in each serving. Serve hot.


How to make Orange peel Tea


•Let begin by boiling water. And Some select shiny and thin orange peel, slice the peels.

•Boil water. Add orange peels and spices. ( I used cinnamon, cardamom, and cloves. You can add ginger too. Cloves can be skipped too.)

•Boil for 2 minutes. Add honey or sugar or any other sweetener.

•Cover for 10 minutes and then add lemon juice & more sweetener or lemon juice to taste if needed. So, classic orange tea is ready.

•Now, this orange peel tea is good but it could be better, so read on.

•And next you add the green tea and boil for 30 sec. (You may use teabags). Strain and serve your Orange peel green tea.

•This is much better but if you like black tea, read ahead.

•Next step, instead of green tea add black tea and boil for 60 secs. ( You may add the teabag.) Serve hot.

•If you want orange ice tea. You can add orange juice and ice in brewed black. Enjoy chilled.

•Add some milk in black tea and boil for another 60 seconds. Strain and serve hot. 

So here my craze to try all types of orange tea ends.
