Abstract:
According to our approximate, more than one-fifth of the US
population is expected to use a smart wearable device this year, as the
behavior to monitor health amid the pandemic continues to grow. Below, we
outline five of the most commonly used wearable devices.
There were a few exceptions – notably, these include
wearable devices with a healthcare function and technology designed to be used
in the workplace. These will both be strong trends throughout 2021, but we are
likely to see a resurgence in other areas as, hopefully, we are able to get out
more.
This means we are likely to see new form-factor wearables
hitting the market, to tackle health challenges or leverage super-fast
networks. But existing forms such as smartwatches and health-monitoring
wristbands are still evolving, too. Here we look at the key medical and
consumer wearable health technology trends of 2021 and beyond, plus look at the
overall industry performance, wearable healthcare profit margins, and uptake by
the insurance industry.

· Smart Health Watches
Smart health watches are identical to
standard wearable fitness trackers in that they offer exercise and health
tracking benefits. But, smart watches also offer features that one would
normally have on their mobile device, including notifications, messages, and
phone calls.
Interval smart health watches were first
known for more simple fitness uses like counting daily steps, recent
advancements have made them more viable healthcare tools. The Apple Heart Study
app gained approval in 2017 for its capacity to monitor heart rhythm and alert
users if they experience atrial fibrillation.Smart watch
Apple’s Series health smart watches 6 model
released in 2020 came packed with a new blood oxygen saturation monitor, native
sleep-tracking capabilities, a faster FDA-approved electrocardiogram (ECG)
sensor, and upgraded heart health monitoring.
· Wearable Blood
Pressure Monitors
According to a February 2021 poll conducted
by the COVID-19 Healthcare Coalition, the highest percentage of telehealth
users are interested in monitoring chronic conditions, including high blood
pressure. As wearables become more widely used for healthcare, blood pressure
monitoring will become an even more sought after feature.

Smart Jewellery
Smart jewelry is the logical conclusion of
ongoing research into how to include health-tracking capabilities in small
smart wearables. The most prominent kind of smart jewelry (as of 2021) might be
the smart ring. Many other unique iterations of smart jewelry exist, from
bangles to bracelets, with some designs even created by well-known fashion firms.
In the near future, the Joule will expand the range of potential smart jewelry;
a smart health-tracking device that doubles as an earring backing, Joule
effectively allows any earring to join the list of wearable computing devices.
Why you
need to know about smart jewelry: As compared to a
smartwatch, smart jewelry may offer a less intrusive means of monitoring one’s
health in the office, without compromising the health insights that one can
obtain. Companies looking to promote active lifestyles may consider subsidizing
or providing employees with smart rings or other jewelry in place of
better-known wearables technology like smartwatches.Smart health jewelry

Smart Clothing
Smart clothing can supply deeper premonition than
other examples of modern wearable technology can, enabling advanced tracking
for both medical care and lifestyle improvement. Clint can already purchase
Siren Socks (smart socks that can detect developing foot ulcers), Nadi X (yoga
pants that vibrate to improve form during yoga exercises), and Naviano smart
swimsuits that provide alerts when the user should apply sunscreen, among many
other kinds of smart clothing.
Enterprises have also initiative to use smart
clothing as a way to generate brand loyalty. In a unique example of wearable
technology,
Why you
should know about smart clothing: Up coming years, businesses
will need to review their dress codes and decide whether or not to allow smart
clothing in meetings, networking events, and other contexts. Anticipating
strength questions from employees and updating dress codes ahead of the trend
will solve issues about wearables technology before they arise.
Epilogue:
As workers bring more and more of these types of wearable
devices into the workplace, companies will need to find ways to harmoniously
integrate these devices into their networks, while ensuring that these new
devices do not harm worker productivity. For Apple Watches and smartwatches
running Google’s Wear OS, as well as a range of VR devices, 42Gears UEM can
sync these wearable computing devices with an enterprise’s network of other
devices and reduce the potential distractors available to your employees.
