Chicken Manchurian - Fizah Mughees









                   Ingredients:

1kg Boneless chicken

1 tsp Garlic paste

1 Egg (whisked)

Salt to taste

White pepper to taste

1 tbsp Oil

1 tbsp flour

                    For Sauce:

4 garlic cloves chopped

4 tbsp tomato ketchup

3 tbsp chili garlic sauce

1 Capsicum

1 Spring onion

1/2 lemon juice

4 Pineapple slices

Salt to taste

Black pepper to taste

White pepper to taste

2 tbsp Corn flour

oil as required

1 glass water

                        Method:

•Chicken into small cubes and marinate with flour, egg, garlic powder, black pepper, white pepper, salt and 1 tbsp oil. ( Half an hour).

•Now heat oil a deep pan over medium heat. Deep fry the marinated chicken and keep aside.

•Heat 2 tablespoon oil in a pan and chopped garlic in it & then add green pepper, spring onion and stir fry for few minutes. Now add pineapple chunks and stir fry for another 2 minutes.

•Add fried chicken and stir in the ketchup, chili garlic sauce, salt, black and white pepper & add a glass of water and cook for 3 minutes

•Dissolve corn flour in little water and let it simmer for few minutes or until sauce is thickened.

•Just before serving add a few drops of lemon juice and dish it out. Delicious Chicken Manchurian is ready to serve with rice..
