                 Ingredients:

2 ½ cups chopped red bell peppers

1 ¼ cups chopped green bell peppers

¼ cup chopped jalapeno peppers

1 cup apple  vinegar

1 package powdered pectin

5 cups sugar

                         Method:

This is the best ever recipe to use up all of those peppers from the garden. I always use red & green jalapeno bell peppers & I use a mix of other peppers I have from the garden. Always wear gloves when working with hot peppers. Making Jalapeno Pepper Jelly is easy. Honestly, you will be shock at how easily this jelly comes together. Even if you have never done anything in your life before, you can do this!

There are a few number of steps involved with making this recipe. First one you choose the size jars you wish to use.

2ndly, Use 4 total cups of finely chopped jalapeno and bell peppers. I utilized 1 large red bell pepper, 1 use large green pepper and red jalapeno.

Now, before you start chopping. Some of my all jalapeno poppers are green.

Be sure to put some rubber gloves on. This seeds in the jalapeno peppers will burn you. Honestly, they really will. Trust a girl who knows from a foregoing bad experience.

Chop the ends from the all jalapeno bell peppers.

Chop into small pieces. I use Fruit and Vegetable Chopper.

Pour all the chopped peppers into a large pot & Sprinkle 1  package of pectin over them and stir to combine well.

4. Add 1 cup apple vinegar. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium high heat flam.

5. Once you have a rolling boil, add 5 cups sugar & stir it well, making sure that all the sugar is dissolved.

6. Stirring  continuously & then boil for 1 minute then remove it from the heat.

7. Carefully flow the hot jam into next pint-sized jars.

8. Take a dripping paper towel and clean the rim of the jars, making sure there isn’t any jam sticking to it. This will help you get a nice, clean seal.

9. Place a cover and ring into the top of the jars. Make sure you are using new lids. Cover that have been used in the past won’t seal properly for you. Place in to the next jars in a water bath canner and process for 15 minutes.

Store in a cool & dry place. Refrigerate is a best place after opening.

This jam is wonderful & spicy, served with cream cheese and Ritz crackers.
